The mission of the Hilton Head Island Pickleball Club (HHIPBC) is to promote and provide high-quality facilities for public pickleball, enabling healthy exercise, friendly competition and social interaction. We do this in conjunction with the Town of Hilton Head Island, the Hilton Head Island Recreation Association and People for Parks. Our members are a group of friendly and enthusiastic pickleball players of all ages and levels of ability. Membership in the HHIPBC for the year 2019 is $40. Member benefits include unlimited playing time at the Hilton Head Island Recreation Center courts. Currently there are more than 200 club members.

Specifics about courts and times are on the top of this site’s NEWS page. We welcome visiting players at $3 per day.

The club is working with the town government to create a first-class, public, pickleball-only complex. In 2018, the town’s Parks and Recreation Commission endorsed creation of a 20-court pickleball center. Project completion is expected to be accomplished through a public/private partnership. To this end we will be soliciting tax-deductible financial contributions through our relationship with People for Parks.
